Despite the crazy heat in the past few months, our appetite for cake eating has not waivered.

Each month we choose a charity to raise money for by putting £1 in a pot for every slice of cake we eat (baked by our incredible happiness officer Georgie).

For June and July we were raising money for our local community farm – Windmill Hill City Farm and managed to raise £110!

Flying to the rescue

For this month and next, the team has chosen to put its cake funds towards the Great Western Air Ambulance.

The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is called to the most critically ill and injured patients across the region, attending an average of over five incidents a day, yet they receive no day-to-day government funding and rely solely on the donations and support of the local community to keep flying.
