Every other month we get together and decide on a new charity to support here at Simpleweb HQ.

Our happiness officer Georgie helps us out by baking cakes so irresistible that we can’t help ourselves, popping a quid into the charity fund for every slice we nibble on. The sweet tooth is strong in our office, so it doesn’t take long for it all to add up.

Just before Christmas we selected Refugee Women of Bristol as our chosen charity and have since raised £102 in cake sales to go towards their tremendous work supporting and providing much needed services to disenfranchised groups of women in Bristol.

This month, the animal lovers have spoken and the team has chosen Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary as our next charity of the month.

Holly Hedge is a Bristol-based independent charity that rescues and re-homes unwanted, abandoned and often mistreated cats and dogs.

They receive no funding from the government or National Lottery and rely on donations from their supporters to keep their kennel and cattery doors open.

Our cake eating paws and pound coins are at the ready!
