We’re pleased to announce our stake in local startup W2 Global Data Solutions Ltd. In return for our stake, we will act as a virtual tech team for W2.
W2 Global Data Solutions, founded by Warren Russell in 2011, is already a leading provider of data, software and services to access in depth information about people and organisations. W2 has strategic partnerships with Dow Jones and Intelligent ID to ensure that clients have access to structured intelligence from around the world.
Warren told us:
“During a restructuring process for W2 Global Data Solutions we met with Mark, Tom and their colleagues at Simpleweb and selected to enter into a strategic partnership with them, in essence outsourcing our entire IT support and development function to the Bristol based team. Since September 2012 they have worked tirelessly to streamline IT processes and enhance our company and solution with great effect and we are now able to compete at higher levels than we anticipated so soon after launch.
