Twitter chat platform, Nurph, will soon be adding screen-sharing to their group video chat, meaning Twitter users will be able to broadcast their screens during Nurph chats.

Neil Cauldwell, founder of Nurph says “native screen-sharing will help Twitter users to collaborate and share across the Twitter Network. This will be a very useful tool for education.”

Nurph, which describes itself as ‘Google Hangouts for Twitter’ has been attracting a lot of attention recently. The platform, which allows users to have text based conversations with hundreds or thousands of people while simultaneously video chatting with a select few, has recently drawn attention from VentureBeat and marketing legend Guy Kawasaki who joined his first Nurph chat in May.

Nurph will also be releasing a microphone that transforms speech into text which is then sent directly to Twitter as a Tweet from the user’s account.

“The Speak & Tweet will redefine what it means to interact with Twitter” says Neil. “Simply pick up the mic, hold down the Talk button, and speak away. It’s going to be one of those paradigm shift devices where once you’ve tried it you won’t want to go back.”

Head on over to Nurph to get involved in a Twitter chat today.
