We’re pleased to announce that AI marketing experts Envolve Tech is the newest startup to join our portfolio of investees.
In the face of marketing information overload, Envolve is a marketing platform that allows brands to speak to their visitors in real-time using AI and conversational recommendations.
Instead of bombarding customers with irrelevant advertising, Envolve allows companies to provide contextual marketing using their ‘convert’ algorithm – giving the user fully personalised information based on what they’re asking for which, in turn, drives better engagement, increased sales and happier customers.
We’ve been working with Envolve for the past year, helping them to build on a chatbot-based proof of concept and fully-functional and adaptable product that has already been put to the test by the likes of Anglia Ruskin University and Bath Rugby – with impressive results to boot.

Booting out the competition
Envolve’s latest success story with Bath Rugby allowed the world-leading club to support a better experience for their fan base. Fielding queries in real-time and responding instantly with personalised responses.
Using the Envolve platform to speak directly with their fans on a 1-1 level, Bath Rugby were able to answer any query the fans had instantly – as well as making the most out of every conversation by selling tickets, hospitality packages, retail and general fan queries. From ticket sales to match day hospitality interest.
As a result, the platform increased their retail conversion rate by 10% and customer engagement by 300% – and with a return-on-investment of 240% in the first month, it was a no-brainer venture for the club.
Developments in AI
Following the success of Envolve’s proof-of-concept, we recently worked with the team to build an API that can connect any chat platform or provider to the Envolve platform, allowing any organisation to experience the benefits of AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to provide contextual content marketing via an existing chatbot, such as Zendesk – who Envolve are already integrated with.
