To start the day at SimplewebHQ we  have a sort of “show and tell” to chat about things that we’ve discovered online. Nothing too heavy, usually geeky and sometimes just a bit of fun. We share our ideas, and then share them with you, simple.

This weekly post will feature our favourite links of the week. Feel free to join in and share any thoughts or links you think we’ll like.

Enjoy.

GameSalad

Interested in designing games? GameSalad creator does just this, and for ease of use the visual, drag and drop based style means no coding whatsoever is needed. Now with HTML5 love included as standard.

Simple, rapid and versatile.. try it out!

Golden ratio.. the ancient secret to perfect design?

See how Apple have used this age old method to design the iCloud Logo. Check out Mark’s post.

Balsamiq Mockups

Wouldn’t recommend for large projects but great little tool to help build quick website or application layouts (without the code and colours) that look like hand drawn screen diagrams. Go see for yourself.

Fourframes “The smart way to make yourself look stupid”

Bored? This will keep you amused for a while..guaranteed laughs! Not much more to say, but check it out.

Museum of me

Intel’s Museum of Me is a visualisation of your Facebook “life”, exploring who you are through photos, wall comments and etc. Based on a museum exhibition, you go through the tour seeing all the info pulled from your profile.

Reviewed as fun, emotional and even “ego-stroking”. Definitely worth trying out at least once (ED: if you haven’t already)
