Invite Agents, one of our latest startup investments, is storming its way through its first crowdfunding campaign this winter with exciting plans to launch its MVP in early 2019.

Invite Agents is a new online platform designed to make the process of finding a trusted estate agent in your area quicker, easier and cheaper.

Check out their campaign highlights video below:

Homeowners looking for the best deals on estate agents currently have to rely on existing ‘agent comparison sites’ which give an agents’ ‘typical’ percentage fees as opposed to the customised fees the homeowner will actually end up paying. Invite Agents works by connecting local agents with homeowners, inviting agents to ‘pitch’ fees that are customised to the user. Along with tools and metrics for easy comparison the platform will provide the ultimate in transparency and competitiveness and the best deal for homeowners.

Stephen Berridge (pictured right), Founder of Invite Agents tells us: “We like the idea of crowdfunding as it gives Invite Agents not only a platform to raise early investment, but also an opportunity to gain a loyal group of investors and followers that will now be a part of our journey.

“Invite Agents is an exciting opportunity led by a great team of people. With approximately 25,000 agents UK wide and circa 900,000 residential sales each year we have a significant market to engage with over the coming years, although we will be starting in Bristol, we have big plans for our expansion nationwide. As one of our lead investors explains in our pitch video, “Invite Agents has a tremendous opportunity to spread as it resonates with the majority of people in the middle market”

And they’re certainly kicking things off well, with one of their biggest investors a local estate agent themselves. The team is also currently 54% of the way to their target and with 21 days still to go they’re on track to success. Take a look at the full Invite Agents crowdfunding campaign here.
