There’s usually cake at Simpleweb HQ, so a few months ago we decided to put our habit to good use. We still eat a lot of cake, but now we each donate £1 per slice to our chosen charity of the month.
Last month we raised £101.85 for Womankind, a women’s therapy centre in Bristol helping women through anxiety and depression, eating disorders and domestic abuse.
This month, we’ll be supporting the Young Mothers Group Trust. The Bristol based charity offers tons of support to mothers aged 16-25. As well as helping young mums get advice and support with money, relationships, parenting and careers, the Young Mothers Group Trust also aims to break down stereotypes that teenage mums face.
