We’re thrilled to have just released a beta version of Safr’s new app that helps drivers manage alertness levels so that they can make safer decisions.

The app, which was founded by ex-RAF pilot and safety manager, Jason Eden, uses Fitbit data to assess users’ sleep patterns. Cumulative sleep data is used to forecast users’ alertness levels throughout the day, so drivers know when they are safest on the roads.

Safr’s system is based on technology derived from the aviation industry. The MVP is currently being trialled with a large national road transport fleet operator, before being opened up to a wider audience.

Find out more and pre-register for Safr at safr.org.uk.
