We’re thrilled to announce our latest investment – Tikk – a social, secure and ethical new ticketing platform.

Tikk’s founder, Martin Hiscox, is a first-time entrepreneur with over 10 years experience in online marketing, digital development, IT and project management with a number of companies. He is currently a buyer for Better Food, Bristol’s leading organic food and drink retailer.

Martin became interested in ticketing when he struggled to find good local events while travelling in San Francisco. Since exploring the ticket industry further, Martin has established a business model which aims to make ticketing fairer for musicians, promoters and gig-goers.

Simpleweb will be developing the Tikk platform, and acting as virtual Chief Technical Officer, taking over all CTO responsibilities.
