Every month we raise money for charity by donating £1 every time we eat a slice of homemade cake made by a member of the Simpleweb team.

Last month we raised £127.00 for The Grand Appeal, a Wallace and Gromit fronted charity who do amazing work helping sick children from Bristol and the South West.

This month we’re raising money for Julian House, who offer direct support to some of the most marginalised people in society – the homeless. Julian House operates more than 20 different projects, accommodation sites and social enterprises in Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire. These include: a range of services for homeless people, support for those suffering domestic violence, addiction recovery, individuals with learning difficulties, work experience and training. Not just changing lives – often saving lives.

Julian House was chosen by one of our developers David, who says, “as the cold weather draws in, we all are especially concerned about people without a safe place to live, or anyone sleeping rough. Julian House works really hard to help those in Bristol and Bath cope with crises and get back on their feet.”

Throughout December we’ll be baking cakes and donating £1 per slice to Julian House. If you find yourself at Simpleweb HQ in the next month, grab some cake and get involved.
