Every month we raise money for charity by donating £1 every time we eat a slice of homemade cake made by a member of the Simpleweb team.

Last month we raised £50 for SARI: Stand Against Racism & Inequality, who do amazing work to provide support for victims of hate crimes.

This month we’re raising money for Bristol Autism Support, who provide an indispensable and important support network for families and carers of autistic children.

The National Autistic Society describes autism as “a serious, lifelong and disabling condition” and say that “without the right support, it can have a profound – sometimes devastating – effect on individuals and families.”

This charity was chosen by Mark, our Marketing Director who, “noticed BAS on Twitter, and saw their enthusiasm and commitment to supporting their community, which struck a real chord with me. They’re just a great local charity.”

Throughout September we’ll be baking scrumptious cakes and donating £1 per slice to Bristol Autism Support. If you’re in the office, do grab a slice and make a donation.

There are many ways you can get involved with Bristol Autism Support, whether that be volunteering or joining their monthly sessions. To find out more information simply visit www.bristolautismsupport.com.
