We had a ton of fun at our last hacknight and we can’t wait to do it all again…

On February 17th, we’re inviting techies and creatives to a special realtime-themed hacknight sponsored by the awesome Pusher.

Attendees will be challenged with building an app from scratch using Pusher, a simple hosted API for adding realtime bi-directional functionality via WebSockets to web and mobile apps, or any other Internet connected device. With Pusher, you can add realtime chat, push notifications, activity streams and more to your apps.

You can work alone or in teams of up to 3. As you’ll be building an app, you (or someone on your team) will need an understanding of either Ruby, PHP and/or Javascript.

Not a developer? Creatives, UXers, designers and ideas people are all welcome (there will be points for WOW factor so a great idea and a bit of design knowhow is recommended!).

On the night, we’ll be serving up homemade food, proper beers and ciders (and soft drinks!) as well as bringing you some cool tech, great people, awesome prizes and a chance to get your work showcased by Simpleweb and Pusher.

Get more details and RSVP on Meetup to guarantee a space and meet people to team up with.
